Linux kernel

There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.

commit a3f7c10a upstream. Previously when we added a fence to a dma_resv object we always assumed the the newer than all the existing fences. With Jason's work to add an UAPI to explicit export/import that's not necessary the case any more. So without this check we would allow userspace to force the kernel into an use after free error. Since the change is very small and defensive it's probably a good idea to backport this to stable kernels as well just in case others are using the dma_resv object in the same way.
