Draft: Python: Add patching capability

@cyril-jean: As we talked about, I wanted a way to store patch-sets for various repositories; this could be one such way.

@burkeb543: I have run through all different paths, but I'm no Python Expert, so any feedback is welcomed.

Enclosed it just a preview of it working for a single variant, solely for demonstration purposes.
